Born in 1991, Simeon Scheuber grew up in Hertfordshire and studied vocals, keyboards and trombone from a very early age. Whilst at school, Simeon gained great performance experience and took-part in many prestigious orchestras and ensembles including Hertfordshire Wind Sinfonia and the National Scout and Guide Symphony Orchestra.
At the age of 16, Simeon undertook employment at Hertfordshire Music Service as a student music teacher and became the conductor and accompanist for many youth ensembles, orchestras and choirs, before moving to the North West to undertake further training.
Simeon trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) and graduated with a 1st Class (Honours) degree in Music in 2012. Whilst at LIPA, Simeon's passion for musical theatre grew and as both a trombonist and musical director he took leading, creative & performance roles in various theatrical productions including Sweeney Todd, Sweet Charity, A Chorus Line and Titanic: The Musical. At graduation he received the Phillip Holt Commendation from Sir Paul McCartney in recognition of his contribution to the musical life of LIPA.
Since graduating, Simeon has begun working extensively as a musical director. Simeon spent the summer of 2012 working with Chester Musicals (dramatics society) as the Assistant Musical Director for their production of Gershwin's Crazy for You at the Brindley Theatre in Runcorn and spent the festive season as the Musical Director for Life in Theatre Productions Ltd.'s new musical MAM I'M 'ERE, at The Dome Theatre in Liverpool.
As an educator, Simeon is currently the Musical Director for the musical theatre course at Rare Studios (Liverpool), who provide advanced performing arts training for talented young people from across Merseyside. Additionally, he is the Choral Director and music teacher at the King's Leadership Academy in Warrington and facilitates as an instrumental and vocal teacher on LIPA's Widening Participation programme at schools and colleges across the region.
As a trombonist Simeon regularly performs with premier function band Move to the Groove and with the Band of the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment with the Territorial Army.
Simeon's performance career has taken him to cities across Europe and to prestigious venues up and down the country to perform alongside some fantastic musicians. He has performed at the O2 Arena (Millennium Dome), The Royal Albert Hall, Edinburgh Cathedral and the Liverpool Empire Theatre amongst others. He has also performed with artists such as Craig Colton (X-Factor), Dawn Penn ("No, No, No") Buggy Nhakente (Barbados Reggae Artist of the Year) and The Cubical.
